FAQS

DO YOU OFFER A FRAMING SERVICE?

No, we do not offer a framing service. The cost of transporting framed prints is often very high. Instead, we are happy to advise on framing styles for your purchased print and will liaise directly with a framer local to you (as well as sending the print directly to the framers, should you choose) once you have sourced one.

WHAT IS A LIMITED EDITION PRINT?

All of Victoria’s prints are part of a limited edition, some as an edition of 50, others as an edition of 25. All of these are printed, signed, numbered and hand-finished by Victoria. Once the edition has sold out, that is it for that particular print. This limitation adds to the exclusivity of the print and also increases its resale value. Occasionally a print run has a higher edition, such as mini prints, which are time limited rather than limited by the edition number. For more affordable, unlimited works, please have a look at the posters and gifts section of the website.

WHAT IS AN AP?

AP is shorthand for Artist’s Proof. When each print is finalized, a couple of Artist’s Proofs are printed to check for colour matching and to make sure everything lines up. Occasionally, these are available for sale once the print edition has sold out. As they are part of a much smaller run (usually between 1 and 5), the cost of an Artist’s Proof are higher than the standard print edition.

DO YOU WORK WITH GALLERIES?

Yes, Victoria’s artwork is on display and on sale at various galleries both in the UK and further afield. If you represent a gallery and would like to enquire about carrying prints, please contact us on sales@victoriatopping.com.

DO YOU SHIP WORLDWIDE?

Yes, we ship worldwide, using Royal Mail, DHL and other couriers. Please be aware that international parcels may accrue additional customs and duties charges, charged to the customer by the receiving country on delivery. This is beyond our control and it is the customer’s responsibility to pay these on receipt of parcel.

WHY IS THE PAPER SIZE DIFFERENT TO THE PRINT SIZE?

The dimensions for all prints listed on the website is for the actual printed area of the paper. Each print comes with a two-centimetre white border, which is not included in the dimensions. To estimate the exact paper size (if you are planning to frame the price yourself, for e.g.), please add four centimetres onto both the height and width of the listed dimensions. The white border is included to allow for various framing options, such as float mounting or box frames. Each print is hand cut in the studio therefore sizes can vary by mm. All measurements are approximate and for guidance only.

DO YOU SELL DIGITAL FILES OF YOUR PRINTS?

No, we don’t sell digital files. The printing process is part of the artistic process. All prints are custom made and hand-finished in Victoria’s studio.
